Gallbladder torsion: A Rare Cause of Acute Abdomen in A Young Man

Gallbladder torsion is a rare but life-threatening condition. It commonly seen in the elderly population due to lack of mesenteric fat, making cystic duct more mobile and prone torsion. We are presenting case gallbladder healthy adult male presented with an acute abdomen. Abdomen ultrasound CT abdomen showed findings hydrops acalculous cholecystitis. The patient went for emergency cholecystectomy severe unresolved pain. Intraoperative revealed gangrenous around duct. He was discharged well post-operatively. remains challenge both surgeons radiologists diagnose preoperatively. Therefore, having high index suspicion crucial come diagnosis correctly.
